today's weather is damn good for nua-ing. and tts wat i did. so lets not talk abt today, since there's nth to talk abt anw.
treated my dad to lunch yesterday for his belated bday. i really had no idea wat gift to get for him, so i guess a sumptuous lunch might not be a bad idea after all. went shopping with my him and bought a nice t-shirt. i have no idea why, but i'm quite into t-shirts now. mebbe i'm in the mood for smart casual style? realised my dad took up "er-hu" classes. tt sneaky old fellow, din let me noe till now.
watched a touching korean movie "A Moment to Remember" at home yesterday. the story started off with the female protagonist Kim Su-Jin waiting for her bf to turn up at the train station where they planned to elope. her bf was actually a married man, and he failed to turn up.
heartbroken, she walked arnd aimlessly and met the male protagonist Choi Chooi Su outside a convenient store. where she snatched his can of coke to drink and walked off. sometime later, she met him again upon her dad's recommendation to her of a carpenter. they fell in love, and eventually got married. everything was perfect. Choi was a perfect husband, they had a perfect love life, they loved each other deeply and were very happy. however tragedy struck when they found out Kim had in hereditary Alzheimer's disease, where she would gradually forget everyone, including Choi and herself. her brain deterioration wud eventually lead to her mental death, and ultimately physical death. she decided to leave Choi to spare him of the agony, but he still found her in the end, and told her the "I Love You" which he never did in the past before she loses all her memory. he also told her, even if she wud to forget everything, he wud be her brains and remember for her. Kim told Choi, even if her memory fails her, no one can seperate them, for he is part of her.
i realised all beautiful love stories, are beautiful and unforgettable bcos they were short lived and imperfect. like romeo and juliet, the butterfly lovers and Kim and Choi. however, stories are stories, there are too many situations and factors in real life that will eventually cause love to become twisted, and lovers to part.
Kim was depressed when her bf did not turn up as planned to elope with her. however she met Choi in the end who turned out to be the one for her. i've learnt one thing, we shud not be upset over breakups *(i noe easier said than done)*. cause breakup is a must for saying goodbye to the wrong one, and embarking on a new journey in search for the right one waiting for us. heartaches are part of this transition. we shud not look back, cause the heartache serves as a reminder to tell us, yes, we are on the right track of moving on and searching for who truly is meant for us.
btw... i din blog afew days ago. wanted to say i've talked to Andy for the first time in office on thurs =) he is sooo cute even up close. actually he kinda came to my rescue tt day. a caucasian walked in and asked for Zoon. i was tinking who the F is Zoon? i made him repeat so many times until the caucasian was pretty fed up with me. Andy happened to be there, he told me and the Caucasian tt he knew Zoon. Later Andy kept talking to me abt some documents tt he need. actually i cant remb wat he said or did, i just seemed to be in a trance when he was beside me and talking to me. cos he is sooo cute, cant help but just kept looking at him. i regret telling kenneth koh i put nicholas tay and andy on the same ranking. andy shud have been the first, followed by nicholas den ken. lols... ken wud still be upset, cos he is still the last to be ranked. wahahahaha... *mean grin*
life is beautiful... i wish things stay the way they are now forever.
